Our Mission

Saint Agnes School is a co-ed, PreK-12 school rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition and the sacramental life. Our school seeks to instill in students a desire to know, love and serve God in this life and the next. We achieve this by uniting the pursuits of both faith and reason: providing a Catholic education grounded in a challenging, integrated liberal arts curriculum coupled with excellence in fine arts, service, and athletic competition. Saint Agnes serves families throughout the Archdiocese and supports parents in their role as the primary educators of their children.

We believe that it is our mission to provide students with a foundation by which they are truly made free to seek truth and live joyful, productive lives informed by reason and virtue in order to help bear witness to the kingdom of God in our day. We believe that the ultimate purpose of a Catholic school is to bring souls to Christ through His Church. As a school, we achieve this purpose when we develop our students’ intellects and when we provide them with foundational principles that they can later employ to live good, fulfilled, and holy lives. Thus, at its core, the purpose of Saint Agnes School is to form in each of our students a Catholic mind and heart.

A Sacramental Life, Not Just a Religion Class

Your child won't just learn about their faith. They'll live it. Weekly Mass in one of the most beautiful churches in the archdiocese, First Friday Confessions, pilgrimages, service projects, and daily trips to visit the King in our Sisters' Convent Chapel. Faith isn't a subject here. It's the air we breathe.

The Great Books, Latin, and the Western Canon

Our classical liberal arts curriculum immerses students in the greatest ideas and literature of Western Civilization. Latin instruction begins in kindergarten and continues through 12th grade. Our seniors engage in "The Great Conversation," an honors seminar integrating history, literature, philosophy, and the Great Books.

PreK Through 12th Grade, One Community

Your child can start in preschool and graduate from high school in the same faith community. Younger students look up to older mentors. Families grow together. Our House and Advisory System creates relationships that cross grade levels and last well beyond graduation.

21 Courses, Real College Credit

Through a partnership with the University of Mary, students can earn college credits in 21 dual-enrollment courses. We don't teach to a single standardized test. We prepare students for college, for vocation, and for life. 100% of our graduates are accepted to four-year colleges.

Music, Art, Drama, and More

Band, strings, vocal music, studio arts, and performing arts. Our fine arts program cultivates beauty, discipline, and creative expression, and it's available to every student.

Championship-Level Athletics, Character-First

As a MSHSL member in the Skyline Conference, our Aggies compete at a high level across a full range of sports. But we measure success by more than wins. We're building character, teamwork, and the virtue of perseverance.

We are now entering the last week of High School for Sophia. Wow- what a year! This school year brought about a better focus on all things important and Sophia was part of that.

We removed her from the school district she attended for the previous 12 years - her senior year - by her request (pleading) To Saint Agnes High School. She accepted that challenge, embarked on a journey to establish new relationships, reinvented herself - (but actually returned to her happy self) and then ended up experiencing a true freedom to express ones own faith. She didn't feel that isolation she had felt for a long time, but was welcomed by students and staff alike. They offered truth, true respect for each other, a Classic Liberal Arts Education and so much more.

She worked hard all year and even came with me to conferences! At one point, I heard her say, "I like going to school." That said it all!
